For LIB 150, it is not recommended that you order articles from other libraries. If you're having trouble locating periodical articles on your topic, ask a reference librarian for help, or talk with your professor. If your topic is a difficult one on which to locate information available at Reed Library, your professor may consider allowing you time to use the library's interlibrary loan service, but you'll have to request the extra time.
For other classes, when you locate a good article for your topic only to find, after consulting the library catalog, that it's not available at Reed Library, don't give up hope! Remember to try the WebBridge service when possible to "check other resources." The Reed Library has an Interlibrary Loan service to obtain such articles for you from other libraries. The interlibrary loan service is offered free of charge to you as a student.
Note: You must be able to wait at least five working days to receive borrowed items. Do not place interlibrary loan requests for items needed within a day or two! Interlibrary loan is not an option when you wait until the last minute.
